CABIN & FACILITIES
Our luxury cabin is ideal for special occasions and people seeking a private country retreat with beautiful views. It is for 2 adults only and includes an electric hot tub. It has everything you need for a rejuvenating stay in a stunning natural environment but is only 15km from the town of Twizel. The cabin is a great base to explore Aoraki Mt Cook and Tekapo – both are a scenic 50-minute drive. Te Manahuna Retreat is 2.5hrs from Queenstown, and four hours from Christchurch.
BEDROOM
The cabin sleeps two guests. It has one bedroom with an exceptionally comfortable king bed. There's a TV and record player. All linens are provided.
KITCHEN
The full kitchen has an oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, all utensils, pots, pans, and dinnerware. Continental breakfast supplies are included. We also supply tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, herbal teas, salt & pepper, cooking oil, vinegars, hot sauce, herbs & spices.
LIVING/DINING
The living/dining area has beautiful mountain views, with a dining table, couch, and logburner.
BATHROOM
The bathroom features a walk-in shower with rainhead, large one-way window, underfloor heating, and natural Ecostore body products.
All linens are included.
OUTDOOR DECK
The outdoor deck has a table and chairs, BBQ, and breathtaking mountain views.
HOT TUB
Relax in a beautiful New Zealand-made electric hot tub filled with pure spring water. The tub is ready when you arrive so you don't need to do anything except enjoy a lovely soak. It is for the exclusive use of our cabin guests, and is situated for complete privacy under the dazzling stars of the dark sky reserve.
RETRO GARAGE
You're welcome to visit the retro garage lounge, which is 160m up the hill from the cabin. It's a shared space with the Menard family, their friends, and other guests. It has a video/gaming lounge with VHS & DVD, plus old-school gaming consoles (NES & N64). There's musical instruments, record player, 2,000 CDs, dartboard, board games, curios, books and more!
