You can request an early check-in or late check-out but this must be arranged in advance by calling or emailing us, thank you.

Fires

Outdoor fires are strictly prohibited due to the extreme risk of wildfires in our region.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed inside any of the buildings. You can smoke outside but due to extreme fire risk, you must put any cigarette butts and/or matches in the designated cigarette disposal units. There are disposal units on both cottage decks, and on the front of the garage. Do not put cigarette butts or matches on the ground, as there is an extreme risk of wildfire due to the very dry nature of our region.

Access to property

You're welcome to use the outer lawns by the cottage, with a badminton set, bench, trampoline and swing set. You're also welcome to use the garage lounge – enter through the side access door. This is a shared space for guests, our family, and friends.

Please note that the lower/Southern section of the property (300m from the cottage) is not accessible due to a building site with multiple hazards. This is for authorised personnel only.

Hot Tub

Guests use the hot tub at their own risk. The owner accepts no liability for injury or illness resulting from misuse or failure to follow guidelines.

  • No children unattended: Children must be supervised at all times. Hot tubs are not considered suitable for young children or infants.

  • Health Conditions: Guests with medical conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, or pregnancy should consult a doctor before use.

  • Bathing time: It's recommended to not use a hot tub for more than 15–20 minutes at a time.

  • Alcohol & Drugs: Do not use the hot tub while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • Cover: Always replace the cover when not in use.

  • There are hot tub instructions and health & safety information on the table in the cottage. Please read in full before using the hot tub.

Pets

Pets are welcome but there is a pet fee of $60 which covers the extra cleaning after a pet has stayed. Please follow these rules when staying with your pet/s:

  • Your pet must either be on a leash or in a carrier while at our place, OR, under your control at all times.

  • Please pick up any toileting left around our grounds with a plastic bag, then tie the bag closed and place in the rubbish bin. Please do not place un-bagged faeces directly into the rubbish bin as we have to take the rubbish to the refuse station ourselves.

  • We prefer pets to not sit on the beds or furniture but if they have a habit of doing this, please bring a blanket or cover to place over the bed or furniture. If you don’t have a covering, we will provide one for you.

  • Please ensure your pet doesn’t make excessive noise, or is disruptive or aggressive towards other guests, or our family. If your pet is deemed dangerous, we may have to ask you to find alternative accommodation.

Property damage

Please let us know of any damage to the property immediately. Depending on the severity of damage, we may charge additional costs for damages and/or additional cleaning required.
